Here is the tenative schedule of events, and the costs therefor, for our 2002

DCRA 2002 Charleston S.C. Reunion  (10/2/02 through 10/6/02)

 

Schedule of events, and the costs


Wednesday:

12 noon - on: Arrivals, registration, light refreshments, visiting, show home
                       movies/slides, liars contest and good grog!

5:00 pm - DCRA Business Meeting.(Annual reports, new business and final nominations for DCRA Officers for Calendar Year 2003.

6:00 pm - Buffet Supper.

 

Costs:  $25.00 per person (Covers the cost of welcoming refreshments and evening Buffet Dinner).

Thursday:

 

7:30 am - Buffet breakfast (Included in Room Charge)

9:30 am - Depart the Ramada Inn for Historic Charleston tour.

Midday -  Lunch at Market SquareOut of Pocket

1:15 pm - arrive back at the Ramada Inn and Afternoon free

6:15 pm – Dinner Cruise on the Spirit of Carolina.  .

 

Costs:  $85.00 per person:  Covers the cost of Charleston Tour {$30.00}; Dinner Cruise {$55.00}. 

 

Friday:

 

  7:30 am - Breakfast buffet. (Included in Room Charge)

  9:15 am - Depart the Ramada Inn for Patriots Point

12   noon - Navy Style Lunch in the CPO mess aboard USS Yorktown Museum Ship.

  1:15 pm - Board the Fort Sumter Sightseeing Tour Boat

  3:45 pm - Depart Patriots Point

  4:00 pm - Arrive at Ramada Inn

  6:00 pm - Buffet Dinner, continuation of liars contest, movies/slides and visiting.

 

Costs:  $70.00 per person: Covers the cost of USS Yorktown and Fort Sumter Tour {$45.00}; Dinner Buffet {$25.00}

Saturday:

 

  7:30 am - Breakfast buffet. (Included in Room Charge)

                  (Then, for those who wish not to take the tour; Golf, or your choice).

  9:00 am - Depart Ramada Inn for Fort Moultrie.

10:30 am - Depart Fort Moultrie

11:00 am - Arrive Boone Hall Plantation

11:00 am - 12:30 - Self guided tour of grounds and  a guided tour of the mansion.

12:30 pm - Depart Boone Hall Plantation

12:45 pm - Arrive at Ramada Inn         

                   Lunchout of pocket.
6:00 pm - Farewell Banquet.

 

Costs:  $65.00 per person (Covers the cost of Fort Moultrie/Boone Hall Tour {$35.00}; Farewell Banquet {$30.00}


Sunday:

 

7:30 am - Breakfast buffet. (Included in Room Charge)

8:30 a.m – Depart Ramada Inn for Middleton Plantation and CSS Hunley Tour.

9:00 a.m. – Guided Tour of Middleton Plantation

Lunch during tour break will be out of pocket.

2:00 p.m. – CSS Hunley Restoration Tour (Civil War Confederate States Submarine)

4:30 - 5:00 p.m. – Arrive Ramada Inn

Costs: $70.00 per person.  (Middleton Plantation Tour) {$40.00}; (the Hunley Tour) ($30.00)

Rooms: $85.00 a day. Full Reunion Package {5 nights} = $425.00 (1 or 2 persons)

Assoc. contracted meals and events.   (All Events) total = $315.00 (per person)

Full Package Reunion Cost:                            $740.00 (1 person)  $1055.00 (a couple)

 

Attendees not staying at Ramada:  Each Breakfast Buffet costs $10.00 per person in addition to Package prices below. 

Full Event and Tour Package = $315.00 (1 person)  $630.00 (a couple).

Sunday Event times to be posted soon.  The cost of the reunion can be paid in lump sum or monthly (Now thru Sept. 7, 2002).
