A Gearing Class Destroyer

From her Pacific Seabottom point of eternal rest Duncan echoes to her crew ---

"They called each other 'Captain,' 'Sir,' 'Executive Officer,' 'Departments,' and 'Crew,' but to me they were all my lovers --- The Duncaneers --- Who else but a people with such deep affection would have taken such tender care of me?"

Attention: Duncan Korean War Veterans!
The two page form thumbnailed below is furnished by the U.S.-Korea 2000 Foundation, Inc. One of it's objectives is to identify all Korean War veterans. Neither the Department of Defense nor the VA can identify all veterans of this conflict. I therefore urge all Korean Veterans who have not done so, to submit the database registry form provided below.

Instructions: Double click on each thumbnail to open full size image. Then click on small double box button in upper right corner of newly opened window. This will provide scroll capability to see entire image. Next, select "Edit" from menu bar and choose "Select All" to highlight the imaged document. Finally from the "File" menu choose "Print" and the image will print on either 8 1/2 x 11 or legal size paper. Fill out the printed document (both pages) and mail to: U.S.=Korea 2000 Foundation, Inc., 4600 Duke Street, Suite 416, Alexandria, VA 22304-2517.
Respectfully, Your Shipmate, W. Clark Smith.
